Making the Tonic

I like to make a huge batch as it does not need refrigeration and lasts indefinitely.

Use about equal parts of each ingredient to make the size of batch you desire.


master-tonic1 quart Apple Cider Vinegar (raw, unfiltered, unbleached, non-distilled)

1 part Garlic cloves (antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antiparasitic)

1 part White onion, or hottest onions available (similar properties to garlic)

1 part Ginger root (increases circulation to the extremities)

1 part Horseradish root (increases blood flow to the head)

1 part Cayenne peppers, or the hottest peppers available, (a great blood stimulant).




1. Fill a glass jar 3/4 of the way full w/equal parts by volume (i.e. a cupful each) of the above fresh chopped and grated herbs.








2. Then fill jar to the top with raw, unfiltered, unbleached, non-distilled apple cider vinegar. Close and shake vigorously and then top off the vinegar if necessary






3. Shake at least once a day for two to four weeks. It is very important to keep shaking, I usually give it a shake every time I walk by it throughout the day.







4. Strain the mixture through a clean piece of cheesecloth or clean unbleached T-shirt. Bottle liquid and label.








The dosage is 1/2 to 1 ounce two or more times daily (1-2 tbsp.) As a tonic, gargle and swallow. Don’t dilute with water. For ordinary infections, 1 to 2 tbsp. taken 5-6 times a day will deal with most conditions.
