How This Nourishes Your Body

These Paleo Sushi Rolls have become one of my go-to quick and delicious lunches! So fast and easy to throw together, and loaded with brain-boosting, hormone-balancing nutrients.

Nori is a type of seaweed that contains key micronutrients that are essential for healthy thyroid function. Avocado and salmon are also loaded with key essential fatty acids that are critical for brain and hormone health and vitality.

Give them a try and let me know what you think!

Notes for Paleo Sushi Rolls

I like to dip these in a sauce made with coconut aminos (soy sauce alternative), apple cider vinegar, and almond butter- just blend and enjoy! Here is a similar sauce recipe to follow —-> Almond butter dipping sauce.

In this recipe I use Primal Kitchens Avocado Oil Mayo. This has become one of my favorite cooking products because it makes almost any meal gourmet, with very little effort. Trust me, it tastes absolutely amazing. It can be used for limitless possibilities including on meats, fish, poultry, dips, dressings, veggies, salads. When I want to make any meal taste better, I throw this mayo right on it.

More importantly, this mayo has incredibly high-quality ingredients and is actually good for the body. Like I mentioned before, most mayo’s are filled with canola and soybean oil, toxic preservatives, and factory farmed, inflammation causing eggs. This mayo however, is made with avocado oil, organic ingredients, and cage free eggs. It is a win-win situation all around.

The ingredients in this mayo include:

  • Avocado oil
  • Cage-free eggs
  • Organic egg yolks
  • Organic Sea Salt

Cooking Instructions

  1. Slice cucumber into strips
  2. Mash avocado with mayo and sea salt
  3. Spread avocado mixture on Nori sheet
  4. Add cucumber and smoked salmon.
  5. Roll and Enjoy!
