Daily Practices More Powerful Than Supplements

I would be rich if I dedicated my career to selling supplements. Almost everyone that comes to see me is mostly just wondering what they should take to help whatever symptoms they are having.

Everyone is searching for that next ‘pill’ that will make them healthier, happier, and more beautiful. Which is why the supplement industry is a billion-dollar industry.

Don’t get me wrong, I do love supplements. But the truth of the matter is, there is no magic pill. There is not going to be one thing you take that is going to change your life. Although if you believe it will, it could. But that has to do with your mind changing your body, not the supplement.

I do think you should take a few powerful real-food supplements to provide you with the nutrients you are not getting from your diet.

That means you don’t have to spend a million dollars and take a million different vitamins to get results.

Did you know there are practices even more powerful and healing than any substance you could put into your body?

Just like you are intentional about taking supplements every day, what if you viewed these practices like supplements, knowing they were healing, rejuvenating you to be healthier, happier, and more beautiful.

I have experienced first hand with myself and with clients that these practices are more powerful than supplements. That’s why we start out with these instead of that magic pill.

Reading and Speaking the Word

What happens in the physical world is far more dependent on what’s going on the spiritual world than anything else.

The Word of God is medicine but medicine doesn’t work unless you take it as directed.

” for they are life to those that find them and healing to all their flesh”

That means reading and speaking the word every day. If we truly knew what this was doing to our body, we would be taking it every day.

The more scripture you get inside of you, the more unmovable and unshakable you will become. The kingdom is voice-activated. The Word of God was created for you to speak, read, and meditate on to change your world and the way the world can affect you.

“The word of God is living and active and full of power – sharper than any 2 edged sword.” – Hebrews 12:4

When you speak His word, Angels are being sent out on your behalf to carry it out. Whether you see a change or not, speaking the Word will ALWAYS do something.

It will NEVER return void, it will accomplish what it is sent out to do, but you have to send it. Whatever area you need change in, send the Word out. Make a sheet of Bible Decrees to speak. Some of my personal favorites are:

  • By Yeshua’s stripes I am healed. Isaiah 53:5
  • I am surrounded with favor as a shield – Psalm 5:12
  • I am growing in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man. Luke 5:52 – Samuel 2:26
  • No weapon formed against me shall prosper. -Isaiah 54:17
  • My God meets ALL of my needs according to His riches and glory. -Philippians 4:19
  • Psalm 91
  • Your Kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. -Mathew 6:10

God wants to use YOUR voice to release HIS power that comes through His word. That’s how you work with Him, that’s how He works through you. When I pray for anything, I try to speak out a decree.

Grounding

Grounding should be prescribed to everyone by every doctor because of the profound effect it has on the body. It’s one of the most powerful ways to decrease inflammation as it charges your cells to life.

Sun – Sunrise and Sunset

Different spectrums of light have a dramatic effect on every cell, hormone, and system of the body. The specific spectrums your body receives by directly being in and staring at the sunrise and sunset is critical for hormonal balance, energy production, and cellular rejuvenation.

Breathing Practices

Breath.

It’s the missing pillar in health.

No matter what you eat, how much you exercise, how skinny or young or strong you are, none of it matters if you’re not breathing properly. Your body needs to be in a parasympathetic response to heal, breathing is the #1 way to begin the healing process in your body.

Did you know lung capacity is one of the greatest predictors of longevity? Yep. And it can be developed via proper breathing.

Every healthy cell in the body is fueled by oxygen.

The main takeaways are:

  1. Breathe less
  2. Breathe through your nose. Do everything you can to not breathe through your mouth, especially at night, throughout the day, and when working out.

The key to optimum breathing, and all the health, endurance, and longevity benefits that come with it, is to practice fewer inhales and exhales in a smaller volume. To breathe, but to breathe less.

Focus on long slow breathes that make the exhale longer than the inhale.

Having slow nose breathing throughout the day along with a few minutes a day dedicated to a breathing practice dramatically affects mental and physical health.

Hot/Cold Exposure

daily practices Hard to Kill and Easy to Love, Literally. That mantra is powerful on a mental/spiritual level, but it can also be a literal fact. There are certain practices you can do every day that literally make you hard to kill. Meaning, making all the systems in your body more resilient to whatever you experience in life.

These practices stimulate cellular rejuvenation, mitochondrial function, and activate the healing systems of your body.

Hormesis – Healthy stress. Things that are bad in high amounts are good in small amounts. Things like sun, exercise, hot, cold, wild plant intake.

These things that damage the cells just slightly result in an upregulation in some of the natural built-in defense mechanisms of those cells – like their antioxidant production and the cell and the body overall becomes more resilient.
