Over the Counter Medication
Most over the counter drugs are laced with artificial dyes, chemical preservatives, and GMOs. The ‘inactive ingredients’ are so toxic to our bodies, and are manifesting in symptoms no one is relating to the drug. Vani Hari did an excellent article on how over the counter medication may be making you sick. Check out a few of the examples she provided.
Each of these ‘inactive ingredients’ is destructive in its own way- but just for a quick example:
- Propylene glycol is used as an active ingredient in engine coolants and antifreeze.
- High doses of high fructose corn syrup have been proven to literally punch holes in the intestinal lining, allowing nasty byproducts of toxic gut bacteria and partially digested food proteins to enter your blood stream.
- Numerous scientific studies have demonstrated that artificial dyes (FD&C Red #40, FD&C Blue 1, ect.) can cause and trigger hyperactivity and ADHD children. Not to mention the artificial sweeteners that are neurotoxic and cause damage to brain cells.
If you want to be scared- research these other ‘inactive ingredients’ and see what your body has to deal with when these drugs enter into your system.
Help your Body Heal Fast
Despite the toxic ingredients that come along with over the counter medication, they also only cover the symptoms- they do not treat the root cause. Here are a few thoughts that go against modern treatment practices.

Before being injected with the flu shot, or reaching for a bottle of NyQuil, think about the incredible healing power of your body, and its ability to fight off any illness, when given what it needs to thrive. And that is not mercury, aluminum, or formaldehyde that are often found in vaccines OR FD&C 40, propylene glycol, and dimethylpolysiloxane that are found in overt the counter drugs.
