red-meatSo. . .butter, egg yolks, coconut oil, and red meat are not the cause of high cholesterol, heart disease, and clogged arteries like we have been told for way too long. In fact, these nourishing foods help the body fight all of these conditions. Think about it, traditional cultures thrived on these foods without experiencing the conditions that have become all too common.

What then, IS the cause  of these conditions that seem to only be increasing overtime? It is the food that man has created, and our bodies do not recognize it.  It’s the man-made-processed-junk that most Americans are consuming daily. It’s the boxed and canned and pre-made food filled with toxic substances our body tries so hard to protect itself from. Basically, it is what the common grocery store has turned into. We have gotten away from preparing food and instead would prefer to just ‘heat it up’, or ‘just add water.’

The real culprits causing conditions like cancer, heart disease, high cholesterol, inflammation, and digestive disorders are processed food, hydrogenated oils, and toxic fat sources.

Hydrogenated Oils

Hydrogenated oils are oils that man chemically alters to extend the shelf life of millions of products. In this process, the oils are quickly turned into poisons through the manufacturing and processing they undergo. They are in everything from dressings, to cookies, to peanut butter.

These oils are attacking our bodies, creating disease, and taking over our immune systems.  These chemical concoctions are not meant for any human body to consume and have been connected to cancer, heart disease, brain fog, and digestive disorders.

conagra-canola-oilUntil recently, industrial seed oils (corn, cottonseed, soybean, canola) have not been a part of the human diet. These oils contain a substance known as HNE (4-hydroxy-trans-2-nonena). Many studies have linked HNE consumption to increased risks for cardiovascular disease, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, liver problems and cancer.

The process these oils must go through to be put on shelves turns it into a dangerous substance that is causing disease. These oils have also been shown to interfere with thyroid function, slowing metabolism, and causing free radical damage.

Corn, soy, and canola oil are twice as toxic because of genetic modification. In fact, over 90% of canola, 88% or corn, and 94% of soy are now genetically modified. Scary part is, you may be consuming more of these oils than you think. They are in everything from ‘healthly’ granola and cereals, to yogurt and soups.

Plus, restaurants are also more than likely cooking your food in canola or soybean oil which convert into seriously damaged and broken down products that have been linked to heart disease and neurological disorders.

In short: The human body recognizes these oils as toxins and has to work hard to protect internal systems and remain in balance when consumed.

The Solution? Eat lots of real butter! . . . .and avoid toxic hydrogenated and vegetable oils.

2. Hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils

3. Man made trans-fats often found in “buttery spreads”

4. Canola oil (also known as rapeseed oil)

5. Corn oil

Butter-margarine 6. Vegetable oil

7. Soybean oil

8. Sunflower oil

9. Safflower oil

10. Rice bran oil

    Do you suggest that even
    organic cold pressed olive and avocado oil are somewhat toxic?
